Blush, Navy and Gold Garden Wedding Photography | Miriam + Brandon

You may recognize this sweet family!  They have been on my blog quite a few times over the years.  I photographed Miriam’s sisters’ weddings, Hannah in 2012 and Rebecca in 2013.  Saturday, when I walked into the Jackson home in Chesnee, SC I was greeted like family from returning vendors and got the sweetest hugs from brothers Tommy and John Richard.  The Jackson and Schells made me feel right at home!

Miriam and Brandon are filled with joy just from being together!  This made their portrait time so natural and fun!  Miriam has an incredible voice.  She sang a song “Remember Me” before communion during their ceremony.  Brandon can carry a tune too- he serenaded Miriam with a Karaoke song at the reception.

Miriam and Brandon were married under an arbor they built together.  Miriam’s father gave her away and delivered a tear-jerking challenge to the couple as he received Miriam’s purity ring.  He then gifted it to Brandon.  What an amazing symbol!  As a mom, I was taking mental notes all day from the Jacksons and Schells.  Both families overflowed with Christ’s love!

Every single detail was crafted to perfection!  Their Navy, Blush, and Gold style showed through at every turn!  We had a serious threat of rain, but the sun popped in and out of scattered clouds all afternoon.  Guests dined on shrimp and grits in the shade of a magnolia tree.  If I had to describe their wedding in only two words, because one isn’t enough, I’d say it was perfectly dreamy!  It was such a treat to serve this family again and photograph such special moments for Mr. & Mrs. Schell to remember their day for decades to come!

The earrings were a gift to Miriam’s mother after she gave birth to her first son (fifth child).

Miriam’s veil is an heirloom made by her mother and worn by her sisters in their weddings!

Endless prayer has been the foundation for these two their whole lives.  I expected nothing less on their big day!

Flower girls and bell ringers making way for the bride!
Miriam, your vision for the ceremony design was stunning!

You don’t want to miss their slideshow FULL of precious moments!
