A fall inspired wedding

We watched the forecast for days before October 20th arrived.  I think we all had our moments of nervousness, but Jenna and Ian never changed their focus.  They were getting MARRIED.  At the end of the day, they’d be ONE and no rainy weather would dampen their union.  Jenna and Ian have their hearts in the right place and its beautiful to see that come through in their lives, relationships, and now their wedding images.

Their day was full of so many special moments that I’m so excited to share with you.  Jenna and her parents had the sweetest times together as Jenna was getting ready (grab a tissue).  Ian’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time is one of my favorites!  They were married in an intimate ceremony at the Cliffs of Glassy Chapel.  The rain eventually rolled away and gave them enough time for more pictures that I absolutely love!  Then they headed down the mountain to celebrate at Jenna’s beautiful family home.

If you have followed me for anytime, then you know that we are expecting our second child any day now!  Back in March, after doctors confirmed I was pregnant, I raced to the phone.  Jenna was the first person I called.  She probably got way too much personal information from me, but the ending verdict was that I would be too far along to physically be present on her wedding day.  We played through a few options and Jenna decided to keep me as her photographer for their full wedding experience.  I was honored to photograph their Engagement and Bridal Session and handle all photography logistics up to their big day.  For the wedding day, Jennifer Stuart (Jennifer Stuart Photography) and Jill Brisken (Lainey Bug Photography) graciously photographed everything for Jenna and Ian!  I’m so thankful to these ladies for sharing their time and talent in their busy seasons of life and photography.

Once again, God provided and worked out this whole wedding experience exceedingly and abundantly more than we ever asked or imagined (Ephesians 3:20-21).  From this baby boy we can’t wait to meet… to Jenna and Ian for being so kind, flexible, and trusting… to my talented, selfless friends that photographed it- I am so thankful!

Having a wedding at your home is no easy task!!  There were so many helping hands, not just vendors!  I know without a doubt the Church and Pinckney families are so grateful for each friend and family member who helped make Jenna and Ian’s celebration so wonderful!
