Speak Out Charleston was held last night at the Hippodrome here in downtown Charleston.  Positive Life Network threw a great party and really inspired us all with great fellowship and the 15 dynamic speakers.  Some speakers to note were Famous Chef Brett McKee, Brittany Rose a leading entrepreneur featured in USA Today, Ashley Dangerfield of Positive Life Network, and Charlie James from Kickin 92.5.

Organizations like Passport 72, Charleston International Film Festival, Weichert Realtors, Melinda A. Carter Foundation, and Dale Carnegie Training were all influential in this event.  There are so many more people who contributed… I’d like to thank Emcee Blaine Parks for keeping the show rolling and DJSKRIFF and Austin Bucholtz for providing entertainment.  A few more great speakers to mention are Glen Cohen, Rebecca Shaw, Jim Geffert, Camille Key, Melissa Moore, Shanon McAlister, Beth Williams, Wayne Carrick, Benjamin Toy, Brian Preacher, and Jodi Riley.  SC Bar Car was present collecting school supplies for “Stuff The Bus”.

Getting to be the sponsoring photographer of this event allowed me to speak with each(and photograph) of these influential people.  What a great opportunity!!

 OH and we had a surprise appearance and speech from Akim Anastapoulo also know as “Extreme Akim”!
