The first time I met Kayse was when Drew brought her to Jeff and my rehearsal for our wedding. Drew was one of Jeff’s groomsmen and I had been looking forward to meeting his lady friend I had seen Drew with on facebook. Kayse was so beautiful and genuinely sweet, Jeff and I knew she was a good one for Drew. Just a month or so later, Drew and Kayse were engaged and I was delighted to hear from Kayse about photographing her wedding. Since then, I’ve been dreaming of their day and the moments we would capture.
When March 31st came, we all gathered at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem for a day of celebration, joy, and excitement! Kayse was so relaxed and eager to see her groom. They chose to do a First Look which allowed them to spend time together before the ceremony and for myself and my assistant, Christine Parks, to capture their time together. Their families, wedding party and friends were all so supportive of them and ready for them to become husband and wife.
The ceremony showed Drew and Kayse’s love for God and their desire for people to come to God as their savior. For a day that could easily have been made all about themselves, Drew and Kayse made an extra effort to glorify God through their actions and pay special attention to each person in attendance. Because their day was full of so many special moments, I’ve posted the first half of their day, please check back tomorrow for their other half!
