Wedding day finally came for James & Mary Kathryn! I get emotional thinking about their whole day. There were so many personal details and special people surrounding us. It was an honor to be asked to capture my brother and new sister-in-law’s wedding day. This was certainly a union of two well rounded and amazing people! The celebration was held at the beautiful Indigo Hall, in downtown Spartanburg. I love you both and hope Maya Riviera treated you well! Check out more on James & Mary Kathryn here and her Bridals here!
Thank you to Dallas for working so hard and covering parts of the reception so I could dance and mingle with my family and friend!
Four notes for four bridesmaids to deliver to James as they walked down the isle…
My brothers and husband!!
Mary Kathryn and James traded notes/gifts around the corner! “I don’t want to let go,” said Mary Kathryn as their time together ended.
The first time they saw each other!
The wedding band James is now wearing is from our grandfather, Vince Cervera. He wore it almost 62 years as he was married to Millie Cervera. The center ring is from Millie and is now worn by Mary Kathryn. Mary Kathryn’s wedding band was originally Susan Farnham’s, James’ mother, who was married to David for almost 35 years. Beautiful heritage!
Here we are! The Farnham family!
James & Mary Kathryn had a super idea! After family and wedding party photos we entered the reception, did their first dance and parent dances. We blessed the food and their guests were served while the bride, groom, and I snuck away for more pictures! It solves the issue of guests waiting too long for food and they hardly realized we left.
Indigo Hall has an amazing courtyard! It was gorgeous for our photos!
