I need you to take a second and think of the most romantic country song ever. A song where the guy melts as he sees his one and only walk down the aisle toward him as they become one forever. One where the girl’s daddy loves her like crazy and can’t help, but cry as he gives her away. The song that talks about the two being so in love that it seems like the world stops when they are in each others arms. Add in charming southern details like cowboy boots, sunflowers, mountain views as far as the eye can see, and family and friends with the deepest connections. Josh and Kansas’s wedding day really could be a hit country song!
We were a bit concerned with Hurricane Matthew striking the coast, but God gave Landrum, SC the most beautiful clouds, patches of blue skies, and a refreshing fall breeze. Josh and Kansas were married in a field down the road from where Kansas grew up. Not just any field. This has the most beautiful view of my favorite mountain in the area – Hogback Mountain!
I loved serving Josh and Kansas’s sweet families! You can tell that they come from two solid families that will support them in this new chapter of their lives. With their ceremony at McClure Cross Base Pasture and their reception in Tryon, NC at Sunnydale, it was a beautiful day! Being a part of their day and being able to capture these special memories for them to enjoy for decades to come is why photography is my passion!!
A tough, but sweet moment for her daddy and his baby girl.
This is my favorite parting shot. Josh and Kansas’s grandmothers observing the action from the porch. View their wedding day slideshow below!
