Congratulations to Joshua and Kim, or should I say #teamkishua?  The story of how they fell in love is so fun and spans across the world.  They are both amazing people with hearts for Christ and making an impact on a worldwide level.  Their navy and blush wedding day was at the lovely Edisto Hall, a part of  James Island County Park in Charleston, SC.

Kim, Jeff and I were in the same small group while Jeff and I lived in Charleston.  She was always the first one to make us laugh and speak for justice.  Kim is a beautiful person any day, but I have never seen her more stunning than in Joshua’s arms during their First Look.  They chose to see each other before their ceremony for many special reasons and I’m so glad they did!  Kim texted me shortly after her wedding and said the First Look was one of her favorite parts of their day. They were able to share so many intimate, stress free moments together!  I’m so happy they will have heartfelt images like these to look back on for decades to come!

There are so many amazing details I want to point out to you.  Kim’s dress was from The Brides Project, a bridal boutique that donates all of their funds to a cancer support group in Ann Harbor, MI.  Joshua’s wedding band is one-of-a-kind created by silversmith Kaminer Haislip.  The design is the South Carolina Coastline, you can even see Charleston!  Kim and her bridesmaids created the amazing floral designs.  The peonies were my favorite!

One delightful surprise was after Kim and Josh made their exit from their reception, we got to drive through the park and see what USA Today calls the one of the “Ten Best Holiday Light Shows in America.”  It was such a fun way to get in the Christmas spirit!
