Ever since I met Stephen and Lauren last year, I have been so excited about their wedding day!  These two have so much happiness to share and their joy spread to their wedding party and guests.  After getting ready at their home, we spent the rest of their incredible wedding day at Lindsey Plantation!  Lindsey Plantation is always gorgeous especially this time of year with the fall colored mountain views!

I loved that Lauren is super organized and a thorough planner, but when it came time, she put the wedding day responsibilities into the hands of someone else.  This allowed her to be a bride and fully soak in each moment.  Like the moment where she walks down the aisle with her father and her enamored, teary groom was waiting for her.  It was so sweet to see Stephen fully embrace that moment.

At their reception they did the coolest thing!  They played the Honeymoon Game where a guest can pay $5 to pick/guess their honeymoon location on the map.  Whoever picks the right location splits the pot with the bride and groom.  Their guests got very competitive!  Their honeymoon destination was also a surprise to Lauren until they announced the location and winner.  Congratulations Stephen and Lauren!  I hope Grand Cayman treats you well!  It has been an honor to capture and tell your story!

A sweet way to remember Stephen’s mother during their special day.I loved how both families gave their blessing for this marriage.

This idea was very special.  Stephen and Lauren invited the bride and groom’s family to dance in replacement of the mother-son dance.  It was a very sweet moment for Stephen’s family to remember his mother.
