I posted early Saturday on Instagram how excited I was to be photographing Haley and Chris’s wedding day in Sapphire, NC.  They seriously make me melt every time they step in front of my camera!  Saturday was no different!

The first part of their day was held in Haley’s parents beautiful home in Burlingame Country Club.  Their intimate ceremony was held in the great room and back porch with the most perfect fall view.  Later that evening they held a reception for all of their friends and family at the country club!

Being a wedding photographer, and being married for over 6 years, I enjoy getting a marriage pep talk during ceremonies.  Haley and Chris wrote their heartfelt vows to each other.  Chris’s vow is something I won’t forget!  He vowed to LOVE.  While simple, it is the foundation for everything he will do in their marriage.  This is so true!!

Throughout their wedding day, I couldn’t help but think “I can’t wait for their children to cherish these images.”  The last image in this blog post wraps it up for me.  Their families will have this sweet image overflowing with newlywed bliss and excitement to always look back on and learn from.  They’ll learn of Chris and Haley’s personalities, their love, their marriage.  That’s what I believe in, not just pictures from facebook, but for history.

I was searching for a place for Haley and Chris to exchange letters and gifts.  When I peeked into the wine cellar, I knew it would be the perfect spot for them to share this moment!

I just finished photographing ceremony and reception details and walked around the corner to see Chris exactly like this!  Can you feel his calm anticipation?

Haley and Chris were in chorus all through their time at PC, so Haley surprised Chris by singing “Sweetest Devotion” by Adele!
