Joyful laughter filled Erica’s bridal suite at the Dairy Barn Saturday morning.  Hugs were shared as family arrived and all Erica’s special women in her life helped her get ready.  Pearl earrings from her sister, a surprise engraved locket from Justin, and a handkerchief in memory of Justin’s grandfather made for sentimental moments.

If smiles and tears were nickels, Justin and Erica would be millionaires after their wedding day!  Their intimate ceremony in the loft of the Dairy Barn was officiated by a dear friend.  At the reception David, Justin’s Dad and best man, shared a toast encouraging love and laughter for all the days of their marriage.  Day one of marriage was filled with love and laughter, so they are off to a great start!

If you live in South Carolina then you are not surprised at all by snow only days before and then warm 50-60 degree weather and not a cloud in sight.  After the ceremony, we quickly decided the sun was too bright for them to open their eyes for pictures.  Judging from their wedding timeline, I knew we could pull off golden hour photos after their reception if Justin and Erica were up for it.  I’m so thankful they trusted me on this one!  So we went into the reception and held off on bride and groom photos.  After they said goodbye to their friends, Justin and Erica freshened up and enjoyed their romantic portraits.  We were able to go further from the venue and stay longer to photograph them in some gorgeous places along the Anne Springs Close Greenway.
