As I drove onto Furman University’s campus on Saturday, I went the back way to search for spring blooms. Spring came early this year especially for these two! Levi proposed to Blake under the willow tree that was in full bloom for their First Look! I’m crazy over the two angles we were able to cover their First Look with! You can really feel their emotion and see Levi give in to the tears!
The weather was definitely part of their story. I was glued to my weather app all week. As I was driving Blake to see her future husband, I asked her if she had been watching the forecast. In true Blake fashion, her response was calm and grounded. “I knew rain was a possibility, but I didn’t spend much time thinking about it. I can’t change what happens.” Well the forecast showed rain dancing all around us, but we were rain-free for their main portraits! Rain moved in during their 3pm ceremony and into the reception. We were all very thankful for the First Look!
Blake and Levi had an intimate ceremony at Daniel Chapel and their family and friends joined in celebration at Hartness Pavilion! Their day was joyful and heartfelt! It was an honor to capture them become husband and wife!
