Gaffney, SC Family home wedding
When I arrived at Stanley’s family estate on Saturday I was in awe of the historical home. Magness-Humphries House is on the National Register of Historical Places. To Stanley’s family it is home. They have farmed the land for over a 100 years and cultivated the grounds into a unique, nostalgic place to celebrate Sara and Stanley’s wedding.
Sara loves planning surprises! Her arrival to the ceremony by horse and carriage can now go down in the books as a top surprise! It left us all breathless, especially Stanley. She made her way down the aisle with her father and son, Seth. After listening to Sara and Stanley’s vows and their friends’ toasts at the reception you would have no doubt they are very loved and will have a brilliant marriage.
We celebrated at Cherokee National Golf Club down the road. Sara and Stanley were welcomed with the swing of rally towels like their Gamecocks would be on Gameday. After dancing and visiting with guests, we stole away to the golf course for a few more portraits at sunset. It was such an honor to capture their story! Won’t it be interesting for future generations to experience Sara, Stanley and this historical home through photographs!
This is my favorite of all time!
