Meet Katie and Lucas!!  It has been a fun, little whirlwind for us because three days after Lucas popped the question, Katie popped into my email inbox!  We started chatting and wasted no time making everything official.  Within a week or so we were doing Engagement pictures!  Crazy, right!?!  Katie and Lucas are getting married in November of this year and I’m so excited to be along for the ride!  If anyone doubts if a wedding can be planned in 6 months I’ll be the first to tell you, IT CAN!

Katie and Lucas met at North Greenville University back in 2017 immediately clicking on a lot of different levels from friends to interests.  They continued to date as they finished out their senior year in college.  Then they entered the real world!  This last year has brought them closer together as they’ve moved to different places, started their jobs, and spread their wings.

A few short weeks ago, Katie was spending an afternoon after work with her friend Pressley.  They drove down to the lake to meet Pressley’s Mom before dinner.  Turns out this was all planned out and Lucas was waiting for Katie at a scenic spot on the shore.  “I was so confused.  While I don’t remember all of what Lucas said because I kept interrupting him, it all ended with him down on one knee,” said Katie.

For their Engagement Session we met early last Saturday to beat the heat and weekend crowds at Campbell’s Covered Bridge.  In this Summer heat the option of a morning session is definitely one to be considered!  Just think, less sweat, hair and make up stay fresh, and you are done in time for brunch!
