Hannah and Nick are married!!!  They overcame so much in the last few months with many life changes and their wedding at the mercy of COVID-19.  While this wasn’t the first version of their wedding dreams, I can confidently say their special day was an absolutely amazing way to begin their marriage!  I know they would agree wholeheartedly!

During their rehearsal dinner the night before, I listened to their friends and families tell story after story about Hannah and Nick.  Some were humorous, some touched on milestones, all of them pointed back to the steadfast friendship and care that Hannah and Nick have offered to others over the years.  They’re wedding weekend was a celebration of their lives and their love for each other!  I was thrilled to be trusted with these memories.

All week, weather forecasts warned us of rain, but not a drop fell on May 30.  Thankfully, we were able to use the classic front porch of the Piedmont Club for their First Look and the surrounding green spaces in downtown Spartanburg for portraits.  After Nick saw his bride for the first time, he was still bubbling over with affirmations and excitement.  Graciously, Hannah soaked in every word.

If you haven’t noticed already, I’m a huge fan of Hannah and Nick.  They are seriously one of the sweetest couples I have gotten to serve.  Even with every plan changing, a much smaller guest list, and countless pandemic obstacles, Hannah, Nick and their families handled everything with patience and kindness.  It all worked out so well.

First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg is steps away from the Piedmont Club and a gorgeous backdrop for their bride and groom portraits.
