Meet Lindsay and Zach!! They first met at church in early 2019. It was not instant….actually they had no intentions of dating each other. We all know the best things happen when we are least expecting them! When they really did start to date is was just a few short months until they realized and agreed that they were meant for each other.
They got engaged over the Summer on Zach’s family vacation at Fripp Island. Zach and Lindsay decided to go out for dinner and drive around the island. As the sun was setting they drove to a nearby marina. This was where Zach got down on one knee and asked Lindsay if she would be his wife.
We had a unique situation during their Engagement Portraits this weekend. Lindsay said it best, “Summer in the south.” Lindsay always envisioned a picture of her and Zach in front of The Cliffs of Glassy Chapel. A pop up thunderstorm kicked us off the mountain before we could even get started with their portraits. We drove away from the storm, changed outfits and did a portion of the session in my family’s field before the sun went down. We planned another time to make sure we got the image she was dreaming of! (I’ll show those images later. I’m keeping it a surprise for them to see first!) This is why we plan and dream together, because it’s about making things happen for you. Not just a standard set of poses, but a vision that we get to craft together. Not just to fill up an online gallery, but to create wall art for your home that speaks life and love to you each day you walk past those prints. Not only do they have a story to tell about their relationship, but another story about what it took to get “the shot”.
On December 5 they’ll become Mr. + Mrs.!!
