Alex and Matt clicked immediately when they were introduced by mutual friends over 5 years ago. After meeting them both I can see how that happened! They are both amazing, fun people!! Hazel is their beautiful daughter! She was christened as part of their wedding ceremony.
When Alex and I first talked, we decided we would include Hazel in portraits as Hazel allowed. This precious child has so much personality she doesn’t take a bad picture! Every expression has a story to tell!
Call it an elopement or an intimate wedding, whatever. Their day was beautiful and perfect for them! Alex got ready with her twin sister and niece at AC Hotel in downtown Greenville. We did their First Look, portraits and a 10:30am ceremony at Avenue. Cake cutting and a toast on the rooftop overlooking Greenville was so special! Hazel’s favorite part was probably when the airplanes flew over! Then the celebration continued down the block with a reception at The Loft at Soby’s.
It was a gorgeous Fall morning for a wedding!
Airplane!
As family was walking toward Soby’s, we stopped outside Avenue for a few more portraits! These show off the vibrant Fall we’ve had! Hazel also gave us a whole new set of charm for the camera!
While I was photographing their reception details, Hazel came into the room to check things out. She agreed that surprising Mom and Dad with a solo portrait was a good idea.
From rooftop to rooftop, the view from Soby’s of Avenue.
