The Venue at Edgewood Wedding in Upstate South Carolina

This Upstate South Carolina venue in the midst of Autumn made for a fabulous wedding! October 7, 2023 marks Maggie and Jake’s day for tying the knot at The Venue at Edgewood. Maggie and Jake are electric together! They can go from relaxed to excited in no time and it’s so much fun to experience and photograph!

Their classic all black with clean modern whites was a stunning design that fit Maggie and Jake to a T! They absolutely loved their First Look and getting to spend their day together!! The forest scenery around The Venue at Edgewood made for a wonderful backdrop for the couples portraits!

Their ceremony was performed by their pastor who did not miss the chance to encourage and fittingly challenge Maggie, Jake, and their guests. The ceremony set-up was simple but stunning! For the sake of cocktail hour, we stole away for “golden hour” portraits and all of a sudden I have new favorite portraits of them!

This upstate South Carolina venue turns out amazing experiences every time! The Venue at Edgewood keeps giving! Every time I return for a wedding, there is always something new they’ve been working on and it’s always amazing for my couple’s images!!

Maggie is such a fun, beautiful woman! It was an honor to photograph her!

Tears fell during Maggie’s first look with her dad. It was such a touching moment!

Maggie and Jake shared a rather sweet first look together and read personal notes before the ceremony!

Maggie and Jake have undeniably great friends who brought their energy to everything from getting ready to the reception party!!

Maggie’s dad escorted her down the aisle to give her away to Jake. She is undoubtedly excited to be his wife!

You have to love Maggie and Jake’s shoe choice, which perfectly reflect this awesome couple!

10.7.2023 was a fabulous day at a gorgeous upstate South Carolina venue: The Venue at Edgewood. Maggie and Jake were an honor to photograph! This was certainly a great experience for everyone involved and I am thankful to have been a part of it!
