In celebration of finally getting some Christmas lights on the outside of our house, I’ve decided to share some lights that are much more spectacular than my own. Christmas in Charleston has been full of exciting events, lights, roasting s’mores, and gallons of hot chocolate(with marshmallows on top)!
The Festival of Lights at James Island County Park has been a frequent stop this holiday season. Three miles(driving) of Christmas light displays and a Winter Wonderland to walk through. oh yes. I’ve been twice so far and I’m sure there’s another visit or two in store.

The real reason for my Christmas spirit, God’s eternal gift of love, grace, and salvation.
The Holiday Boat Parade/Parade of Boats, was a fun, chilly way to kick off our first Christmas by the sea. Charleston always has something going on, you just have to look…or google it. This nautical celebration was complete with boat crews shouting carols and crowds of onlookers stretching from Mt. Pleasant to The Battery.
Santa Claus even made his way around the harbor.
Merry Christmas from the Williams, it’s a first for us 🙂
