This crazy year is coming to a close and I’m so excited to be seeing my special 2017 couples wrapping up their full Wedding Experience! No Wedding Experience is complete without a tangible way of preserving the images that you and I worked so hard for and created! It’s not just about updating your facebook profile picture or adding a post on Instagram. This experience is for the long run, the memories, the prints that will last longer than we do.
Gibson and Brandon now have this beautiful 10×10 Heirloom Album in their hands! They chose the monsoon (navy blue) leather cover to reflect their navy and neutral wedding palette. Gibson wanted their names debossed on the front in the Garage Gothic font. I absolutely love the way the deboss looks on darker shades of leather.
Just to give you an idea of the design process. Gibson and Brandon were married September 16, 2017. They received their full gallery of wedding images by September 22. I selected the images and designed the full album for their review by the end of October. Gibson received an online proof so she could review the design and make any simple changes. She approved the initial design, so we ordered that day! The album and parent book were delivered and in their hands by November 10. Now that’s an accelerated version because they had the album and book in their collection prior to the wedding, there weren’t any design changes and I had the window of time to design. This is just to give an idea of how simple this process can be. Sometimes holidays and busy season (March-December) prolong the process, but no matter what, it is still super quick.
Creating an Heirloom doesn’t have to be hard. You’ve already planned the wedding. I’ve already taken the photographs. Let me do the artistic, storytelling and design work.
When you are done scrolling through this post, take a look at Brandon and Gibson’s wedding experience with these links: Engagement Session, Bridal Session, and Wedding Day! They are such a precious couple and I’m just blown away that I was the one they chose and trusted to walk them through their wedding experience!
My favorite spread to design has huge, high impact images! This large image on the left is easily 12 inches long and 9 inches wide.
I imagine their adult children (someday) looking through this as they prepare for their own wedding or are planning Brandon and Gibson’s 40th anniversary celebration. I create for the long haul, friends.

Gibson’s grandmother ordered a Parent Book which is the same 10×10 in a photo book format (see images). Her cover details are the blue faux leather with a silver foil stamp on the front center in the Alana Pro font listing the bride and groom’s names and wedding date. The design for the Heirloom Album and Parent Book is the same.
Thanks for reading through this post! I’m so excited about creating Heirlooms for my couples! If you are one of my couples and are curious about the Heirloom Album and Parent books I would love to show you a sample and walk you through the process. Shoot me an email and we’ll get the ball rolling!
