Sunday was such a gorgeous day! It was like the fall leaves were hanging on especially for Taylor and Michael’s special day. View Point at Buckhorn Creek, is stunning in any season, especially fall! This venue was refreshing with so many different ways to set up a ceremony and reception. I have shot here before and everything was set up specifically for their unique vision.
Taylor and Michael met a long time ago in elementary school. They knew each other for many years and reconnected during college. Michael was at USC and Taylor was at C of C. Michael proposed this past July so they planned their wedding in just a few short months! What a year right!? College, graduation, new jobs, engaged, wedding planning, and now their first holiday season as husband and wife.
A toast toward the end of the night by groomsman, Spencer, wrapped the whole day up so well. He spoke of Michael and Taylor’s solid character, Taylor’s amazing cooking skills, and how great marriage will be because of their love for each other and their faith.
Custom Chacos!!
Their pup Beau came along for the wedding excitement!
The light was right and we were waiting for guests to filter out of the ceremony area, so we kept shooting their just married photos! I’m so glad we did this because it got cold fast. We ended up finishing photos 30 minutes early so everyone could wrap up in cozy blankets, jackets and get close to the heaters or fires.
