Congratulations to Caitlin Hill and Josh Sullivan!  They were married yesterday at Old Cigar Warehouse!  We’ve looked forward to their day for over a year now.  It was amazing to see everything unfold!  Before their big day, Caitlin and her mother, Lynne, met me in Charlotte, NC at Duke Mansion for her bridal portraits.  Caitlin and her mom travel a lot and Duke Mansion not only represents Caitlin’s style, but also reminds them of many places they traveled together.

Historical Duke Mansion has been a bucket list location for me to photograph.  It is always refreshing and inspiring to explore a neighboring city’s top wedding venue.

As you scroll, you’ll notice Caitlin’s custom lace overlay for her dress.  On their wedding day she had a variety of looks.  The lace and veil was for portraits and the ceremony, then she removed her lace and veil for a more playful look for her reception.  Both versions were so perfect on her, we couldn’t help but play with all the options during her bridal portraits.
