Downtown Greenville, SC classic, modern wedding
When I arrived to the bridal suite at Westin Poinsett Hotel Caitlin was getting her hair and makeup done by Katie Cotton. All Caitlin’s close ladies in her life were spending the morning getting ready together. The mood was so relaxed! They sipped on mimosas and chatted as I started on detail photos. The guys were over at Aloft hotel watching the Clemson game and getting ready.
One thing I love about Caitlin and Josh is they placed a lot of value on their photography and their guests. They chose to do a First Look so they could have enough time for the moments and images they wanted beforehand and could actually visit with their guests during the cocktail hour! This allowed them to start the official wedding festivities (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception) already done with their portraits!
Their first look was so sweet to witness as they hugged and talked excitedly. Caitlin got to show Josh her Kate Spade Keds and Josh got to soak in every detail of Caitlin’s dress. First Looks really are the sweetest time to connect with your groom and let all the anxious nerves melt away. After wedding party portraits we rode the trolley to Old Cigar Warehouse where we did more portraits around the venue and Caitlin and Josh got to see their gorgeous wedding decor by Clink. Events and Urban Petals. Every detail was beautiful and perfectly fit Caitlin and Josh’s style and vision for their celebration.
Their ceremony was so sweet as they were surrounded by their dearest family and friends. Caitlin and Josh wrote their vows to each other. One of my favorite lines was from Caitlin, “I promise to love you fiercely and unconditionally even on our worse days.” After they were announced husband and wife, the celebration began quickly with cocktail hour and a delicious dinner by Larkins Catering! Uptown Entertainment never fails at keeping the dance floor packed and energetic!! It was a beautiful day filled with so many special moments! It was an absolute honor to be a part of Caitlin and Josh’s wedding experience! I’m so thankful they chose me and trusted me even with being in my third trimester! What a blessing!
Caitlin’s Mother, sisters-in-law and mother-in-law all ready to go!
Ready for their first look!!!
Oh, I just melt at the joy between them!
These gentlemen are Josh’s brother and future brother-in-law!!
Sue Simpson Garden was a lovely, private place for their portraits!
I love the motion in this image.
Their custom Jones drinks said “A Veterinarian walked into a lawyer’s office…” as a nod to their careers.
Josh danced with is mother and Nana!
Caitlin and her mother have the sweetest relationship! Their dance together was precious!
