Christmas was good to, bride, Taylor’s grandmothers! They were both surprised with custom designed, 10×10, linen books of Taylor and Vince’s wedding day! Don’t you love the matte gold and matte silver deboss? These books are a delight to flip through as they are filled with images of smiling loved ones and the happiest, sentimental moments for the family.
It is interesting to think how Taylor’s grandmothers will enjoy these images over and over. They are the generation that truly experienced having printed portraits- they get it! They probably won’t be signing on to the online gallery when they want to see their grandbaby hugging their neck. They can go straight to their coffee table and open these pages!
It reminds me of my grandfather’s hallway. We call it the “Hall of Fame”. It is layered in family portraits dating earlier than the 1950’s. When he needs to recollect something, he walks down the hallway. He’s not fumbling around with floppy discs or a usb drive. When I need to refresh my memory of the family picture I dressed myself for, it is there…all my shoes-on-the-wrong-feet in the front row glory. Goodness, I’m getting all nostalgic! It sounds like it is time for a visit to the Hall of Fame!!
