Welcome to my annual Behind The Scenes blog post!! Apparently, this is the watch me grow edition! We found out we were pregnant in late February, meaning all but one of these weddings, Micah was along for the ride. I’m beyond grateful for a career that allows me to serve people in every stage of my life! My couples are so gracious and shared genuine excitement with Jeff and I as we prepared for baby Micah.
I absolutely love the behind the scenes of a wedding day! While the final images of a wedding are elegant and classic, it may have taken some not-so-refined moves from me to make them happen! From corralling wedding parties, to climbing through fields, to pulling bugs out of wedding dresses…these are the realest moments of photography in action. I truly love every second with my couples! I also love making their wedding photography dreams come true…no matter what!
This year was also unique because we were able to celebrate so many friends getting married! Jeff helped second shoot his cousin’s wedding and was a guest or groomsman at quiet a few weddings! These images don’t cover all my 2018 weddings or sessions, but it is a fun representation!
If you scroll really fast, my belly kinda has a chia pet effect! You can click the links to go to the specific wedding’s blog post…ya know…to see the styled, intentional images that were created!! Here we go friends!

In Micah’s birth story blog post, I mentioned that he “dropped” during portraits at my last wedding. The mother-of-the-groom even pointed it out, “Jenny, your baby has moved!”
I seriously have the best couples ever!!
There are many ways to caption this last image… I’m just glad that last dance didn’t send me into labor!
I’m endlessly grateful for these precious couples who welcomed me into their lives and wedding experiences! God is so good! He has great things in store for 2019!!
