I always love hearing how two people come together, fall in love and decide to get married!  In our first conversation, Stephanie told me how she’s known Matt since first grade!  They dated in high school, then reconnected once the two were away at separate colleges freshman year.

Stephanie and Matt are so ready to start this next chapter of their lives together!  They are wrapping up schooling, job training, and getting married in January 2020!  We will be celebrating at Trump International Golf Club in Charlotte!

Photographing in a different place allowed me to explore Uptown Charlotte and find amazing spots for photos.  Stephanie drove by First United Methodist a few days before our session and messaged me saying this is where she’d like to start!  I loved the stairs and their outfit!!  From there, we picked great walkable spots that encompassed spring blooms, city views, but mostly gave them a chance to loosen up in front of the camera and have fun together.  This is one of the main reasons why an Engagement Session is important for a couple, so on the wedding day being photographed is nothing new – just natural!
