Ross and Danilo were happily married on Friday, January 3!! After getting engaged in September, Ross and I chatted about their wedding day. She said she needed three things, a Christmas break wedding, Jenny Williams Photography and Cannon Centre. So there ya go, that’s how you pick a wedding date!! I photographed her sister Jordan’s wedding back in 2017. It was a complete joy to catch up with the family during the wedding experience!
From day one of planning, Ross and Danilo wanted their portraits to be priority and they wanted them to be filled with natural day light! That can only mean one thing, First Look!! As I was walking with Ross to see Danilo she said I’m so excited but I’m so nervous! Their time together was beautiful! All those nerves were washed away by hugs, kisses, laughter and time with each other.
These two are magical together! Their love for each other shines in each image. It makes me overflow with joy knowing they’ll have these love-filled images to carry with them through their life. There are many days you just need to look back and be reminded of the blissful moments of your first day as husband and wife.
Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like the rainy, winter grays went perfectly with their wedding vision. These rainy weddings day are making me scheme a little on how I can pack a church portico in my pocket for every rainy wedding day. I’m just thankful it was sixty degrees instead of thirty!!
Washington Baptist’s new parlor and multipurpose room were welcome backdrops for their images!
The Mathis ladies!
I love being able to do complete family portraits outdoors before the ceremony. Everyone has fresh makeup, it makes life so much easier for everyone after the ceremony, and they are so pretty!!
