Jan and Max met their senior year at USC where they ended up riding together to a formal (with their dates). Jan saw a church bulletin in Max’s car and was immediately intrigued! It didn’t take long for them to go out again (as each others date)!

Jan tells their proposal story, “Max and I started a tradition of taking his dog Sawyer on a run on the horseshoe before Carolina football games. Unfortunately, this particular Saturday I was absolutely not going for a run because it was too cold. He and my roommate did convinced me to go at least throw the ball with Sawyer.  After throwing the ball we walked back to the car and Sawyer wouldn’t stop barking.  Little did I know he saw my sister hiding in a bush. Next thing I know, Max is on one knee and I’m in tears.  He planned a party after with our families and best friends. It was filled with so much happiness!”

We met at Lake Cunningham in Greer, SC Saturday morning for their session.  Before we started, I asked Max how he was feeling about the Engagement Session. He said “I hope my dog smiles.”  Scroll down and see if Sawyer delivered!  Jan and Max are so lovely together!  We had such a good time and we mostly had the area all to ourselves!  Thank you to Curry Ann for helping so much with Sawyer!  I know everyone is counting down to next June to celebrate these two!!!
