I always enjoy a wedding day at Green Valley Country Club, so when Katelyn told me they decided on this for their venue I was so excited! Soha and her team are experienced and operate with the extra mile as their standard.
As I shared in Katelyn and Chris’s Engagement post, I’ve had the honor of photographing Katelyn’s family since before I knew I would be a photographer. Being a part of their wedding experience has been a true full circle for me!
Their whole day was filled with so much love and laughter. Katelyn is super laid back and fun and Chris does not shy away from showing his feelings. Ok, so, no one shied away from showing their feelings. There were a lot of happy tears falling! During their First Look, Katelyn and Chris would get lost with each other and I would just keep shooting. Then I’d prompt them with something else and let them do their thing. Between that and their First Look, we got A LOT of amazing images for them to love forever!
Katelyn and Chris’s ceremony was beautiful with their cousins playing music and officiating. Their cousins even made bread and packed individual communion cups for everyone to take part in safely. Their ceremony overlooked the hills of Travelers Rest and Paris Mountain.
As the sun set, the air was crisp with Fall. Dinner was delicious and cake was the perfect finishing touch! The dance floor was outside which made for a fun atmosphere for guests to dance together or separately. November 21, 2020 was such a special day to capture! Going into this week of Thanksgiving, I AM SO THANKFUL God has given me these 2020 couples to serve!
We chose to use natural backgrounds to fit Katelyn and Chris’s style. We even found one last glimpse of Fall by the golf course!
At the rehearsal, they decided that they would move the dance floor outside. It was such a fun setting!
