When your wedding week starts out with discussing a rain plan, but everything changes and you end up with the brightest, sunny day, you take it! We did their first look at Links of Tryon where they had their rehearsal dinner. Lindsay and Zach were both nervous, but immediately comfortable once they saw each other! We enjoyed their private first look with the occasional shouts of congratulations from passing golfers. Lindsay and Zach were so sweet together.
Truly best friends ready for forever.
The rest of their day was at Bible Baptist Church in Landrum, SC. I loved their design of emerald green and touches of the holiday. Their reception felt like a cheerful Christmas carol with the piano playing and everyone mingling. The twinkle lights draped across the room and trees were the perfect glowing touch to their celebration. Guests enjoyed soup, dinner, cake and hot chocolate!
A sweet moment was the last few minutes where guests were lining up for the sparkler exit and the families were tucked away with Lindsay and Zach. Family had a chance to hug, say goodbye, and get in another good cry.
Links of Tryon first look
When Lindsay and Zach’s nephews showed up excited and ready to go I decided they would be a great start to the rest of our portraits! Aren’t they adorable!!
We didn’t plan on bride and groom portraits after the ceremony because it was going to be dark and we’d have family portraits…BUT we did all family portraits before the ceremony and the ceremony ended minutes before sunset. This allowed us to sneak in a few just married moments in the field across from the church.
Their reception was so cozy!
