Downtown Greenville’s Avenue Rooftop Wedding

Karen and Joe were married February 24 with the best view of the city of Greenville. This Downton Greenville’s Avenue rooftop wedding was filled with to the brim with meaningful moments and special people!

When I arrived at AC Hotel, Karen was getting her final touches of makeup and hair. Bridesmaids and family were stirring around with final preparations. It was inspiring to see the love and teamwork of this group as they supported Karen in getting ready.

Karen and Joe decided to do a first look! As soon as they laid eyes on each other they worked through their raw and wonderful emotions. Once the couple’s nerves eased we included Joe’s daughter in portraits! She was such a sweet kid welcoming Karen into the family!

The selection of black bridesmaids dresses and navy suits made the florals of the wedding stand out wonderfully! A vibrant and classic coordination for a fun wedding!

Karen and Joe’s 5:30pm ceremony was stunning on the Avenue rooftop! Guests enjoyed cocktail hour afterwards while we finished family portraits! Dinner, dessert, dancing, hilarious toasts and celebration stretched through the night with a bubble send off for the newlyweds.

Joe’s daughter joined her dad and Karen for portraits! Such a sweet, beautiful young lady!

Yes, it was cold and windy….for comfort, we did a lot of portraits inside the Lobby which has a stunning, modern vibe to it!  The walls of windows do not disappoint with all the natural light!

Karen’s mother walked her down the aisle where they met Karen’s father and Joe!

Such striking colors in the flowers and their signature cocktail!

Karen and Joe’s portraits on the rooftop were breathtaking!

They enjoyed a first dance together as their friends and family watched with huge smiles!

Karen and Joe left Avenue with a frenzy of cheers and bubbles lining the path! What a great day! I am so happy to have experienced and photographed this day! Congratulations to Karen and Joe!
