While I was sorting through images for a super exciting project that I will be announcing in TWO short weeks I edited through my folder of some very humbling behind the scenes photos! I know we all love binge scrolling through gorgeous, perfected images of wedding days! Sometimes what we could really enjoy is a dose of reality, so these were too good not to share!
There are so many working parts of a wedding day. Whether its a simple dress fluff or rounding up a wedding party of 20+ of your closest friends. You’d be surprised at the logistic aspect of wedding day photography alone…and I’m not event talking about wedding coordinating and other vendors, just photography! I seriously love every second of it. From the tender moments caught forever to the burst of creativity that a couple in love can give me to the strategy of quick problem solving and a helpful hand.
Wedding days are made up of a lot of important moments that brides, grooms, wedding parties, and most families have never done before. You’ll notice a lot of help with placing veils perfectly in the center of bobby pinned up dos, pinning on boutonnieres, speedy cake cutting tutorials, and a whole lot more! I believe as a wedding photographer you can get involved as much or as little as you like. No approach is technically wrong. I choose to be all in, 110% with a professional, flexible, considerate desire to serve and create the most meaningful moments and timeless photo memories.
A huge thank you to my second shooters for snapping these in between moments! They were also carrying my bag, step ladder, and probably someone’s bouquet.
Here it is, the blooper reel of 2017, or better called the real reel of 2017!

Thank for scrolling through this dose of real life 🙂 It is my favorite! I consider it an honor to be these couples’ photographer and to serve them through their experience and on their wedding day in many ways!
