If we could have picked the best weather for Taylor and Jacob’s day we would have picked exactly what the Lord gave us! It was a pleasant, spring day with beautiful sunshine trickling through the giant oak trees they said their vows under. Not a drop of rain! When I arrived, Taylor’s house was bursting with laughter, family, and friends. Bridesmaids were zipping up their blush, lace dresses and Taylor was relaxing in shorts and a t-shirt! Taylor chose to wear her heirloom cameo earrings from her grandmother! The ceremony was set for the backyard of Taylor’s home and the reception was on the other side of their massive yard covered with twinkle lights and oak trees. Jacob’s men wore stylish, navy suits with blush ties, it looked so good with the bridesmaids’ blush dresses! Gorgeous blush rose and succulent floral creations by Yuli Smith.
Taylor and Jacob are such a sweet, cool couple. After hearing their song selections from the greats, James Taylor and Elton John, you’d agree! Not only are they awesome, but their wedding party blew me away with their great attitudes and excitement for the newlyweds. The Rogers and Carr families were all so welcoming and kind. The people you surround yourself with really impact your marriage. Jacob and Taylor’s will prove to be strong and grounded in faith. Be sure you see his tearful reaction to his bride walking down the isle on the arm of her father. There was not a single dry eye during the ceremony, as Taylor’s dad officiated, even I was crying!
We danced the night away on the grassy dance floor with Pros Only Entertainment. Taylor’s grandmother made their wedding cakes – coffee cake to go with their breakfast themed buffet! Taylor and Jacob exited with a gorgeous sunset and sparklers! Well they didn’t leave immediately, but with help from a guest and jumper cables they were off to their Floridian honeymoon!! I hope the surf is head high and glassy!
