My favorite love stories start with change. Some of the best things in life happen when we are bumped out of our normal and take a leap into something new. Mary Rose and Dalton first met when Mary Rose decided to transfer to a college closer to home. Their first date was a trip to the zoo, which Dalton followed up with quickly to set up a second time to see Mary Rose.
I asked them what the moment was that they knew they were going to marry each other. They both told their own versions of the night they went to a friend’s wedding. They had only been dating a month of two and Dalton was a groomsman. They were so excited to get to the reception to dance with each other, but the wedding ended without them having a chance to slow dance together. After the wedding Dalton, turned on his own music and asked Mary Rose to dance. Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking out loud” and a slow dance sealed the deal! After almost three years of dating, Dalton proposed at Epcot’s Aurora Garden’s in Disney World. Aurora is Mary Rose’s favorite princess!!
I’m so excited to be serving them through their wedding photography experience!! We spent a warm (yaaay) Sunday afternoon in Spartanburg and at Glendale Shoals for their Engagement Session. I got to meet Oakley their 8-month-old Bernese Mountain dog. He’s a fluffy ball of energy and did so well for pictures. Thank you to Kennedy who came along to wave Beggin Strips over my head for Oakley’s attention! I’m really looking forward to designing their custom photo guest book with these images! Mary Rose and Dalton will be getting married at Carolina Country Club next May!!!
